Accessing your Student Portal Account

Student Portal Login

Enter your "Username", "Password" and academic "Term" in the appropriate text or dropdown windows, and click the "Login" button to begin your portal session.


FIRST TIME USERS PLEASE NOTE:
User name: Your first name, middle initial, last name - all lowercase - omit spaces and special characters, including hyphens, periods, and apostrophes.

ex: Sam T. Ho-Use = samthouse

Note:   If your username is longer than 20 characters/letters, then only enter the first 20 characters. If you did not include a middle initial on your admissions application, use your first and last names only.

Password: The upper case word 'NEW' plus the six digits of your birthdate.

ex: May 9, 1987 = NEW050987

Change your Password

Click the "Change Password" link in the upper left corner of the portal menu to access the window for changing your Student Portal password.




Please Note: This will not change your passwords on the Campus Computer Account or the Eagel Online and MyLabsPlus online course management systems, (please see the help documents for accessing those systems for information about changing passwords on those systems).

New Password

Enter your current password in the "Current Password" text window and your new password in the "New Password" and also the "Re-Type New Password" text windows. Click the "Change" button to save your password.


Your new password needs to be at least 8 characters long, and should include a mix of numbers, lower case letters and upper case letters.



Please Note: This will not change your passwords on the Campus Computer Account or the Eagle Online and MyLabsPlus online course management systems, (please see the help documents for accessing those systems for information about changing passwords on those systems).

Please check out the links in the Student Portal menu that give you pertinent information about your "Account" balance, "Schedule", "Transcript", "Grades", and so forth.


Please Note: Do not forget to (change) the term to see information as it pertains to the academic term that has been selected and shown as "Current term" in the upper left corner of the screen.


Eagle Mail is the official means of communication between you and FVCC. Click on the "Eagle Mail" link to activate and use your FVCC email account with your username username@fvcc.edu and beginning password ex:NEW050987 that has your 6 digit birth date.
